Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh landed himself in trouble after he posed nude for Paper Magazine and shared his naked photo on social media. While few lauded him for his courage, others trolled and raised objections to his pictures. Even many cases were registered against Ranveer for baring it all for the English magazine. Amidst the controversy, some nude photos of Singh showing private parts also surfaced on social media and thus he was grilled by Mumbai Police.

As per a report in Indian Express, the Simmba actor recently recorded his statement in this regard and told Mumbai Police that pictures showing private parts were morphed. In his defense, Ranveer mentioned that these sets of photos do not belong to the photo shoot for which he went nude. The report added that the pictures will now be sent to forensic science laboratory to know the truth.  A senior police officer was quoted saying, “He provided us with all the photos taken during the photoshoot. The police team also checked his Instagram posts, which do not have the photograph that was given by the complainant.”

Last month, Ranveer Singh was questioned by Mumbai Police for nearly two hours after pertaining to a nudity and obscenity case lodged against him by NGO and a woman activist Vedika Chaube.  In her complaint, she alleged that the 37-year-old actor naked photos insulted the modesty of a woman. The actor was booked under sections 292, 293, and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
