Television comedian Kapil Sharma has been making the headlines lately for his confessions and sharing his experiences from the darkest phase of his career. The actor who is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie Zwigato, in a recent interview revisited the time he had drunk tweeted PM Narendra Modi and how, his wife takes away his phone at night, so that he doesn’t repeat the same mistake.

In his interview on Aap Ki Adalat, the comedian spoke about how his wife makes sure he doesn’t repeat the same mistakes like he did in the past. He also mentioned why he stopped posting everything on social media, like he used to do in the past. Talking about Ginni, he explained that she is very smart. For the unversed, 2016-17 was one of the roughest years in Kapil’s life. Not only was he battling with anxiety and depression but he resorted to drinking to calm down his nerves. The ace comedian went on to share that he has become conscious of what he is posting on social media, after the birth of his kids, daughter Anayra and son Trishaan. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, he said, “Now I do not post on social media..haan pehle aise kar deta tha… pehle merko har baat mein ghusne ki aadat thi. I used to comment on every issue. I expressed my opinions without anyone asking for them, sometimes you invite trouble for yourself. But now there is a lot of change in me, after two children, you get a sense of responsibility. After a few years, my kids will start reading what’s there on Twitter, vo sochenge humara baap aisa hai?”

On the work front, Kapil Sharma is all set to return to the big-screens with his slice-of-life film, Zwigato. He is also handling his comedy-chat show The Kapil Sharma Show.
