As Karan Johar is gearing up for his talk show 'Koffee With Karan 7, actress Kangana Ranaut took a jibe at him. Calling KJo ‘papa jo’, she called her episode surgical strike while mockingly wishing Karan for returning with the seventh season of the chat show. Not to forget, the Queen actress appeared on the show with Saif Ali Khan in 2017 and called the filmmaker 'flag bearer of nepotism'. And, today, Ranaut took a nasty dig at the director ahead of the show's release.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana shared a photo of her from the episode she featured and wrote, “Papa jo is promoting all famous coffee episode as it premieres on OTT today, good luck to papa jo… but what about this episode of sorry!!! surgical strike, ghar mein ghusss ke mara tha na, my episode is his most popular episode and after this he got banned on tv (sic).” In another follow-up post, she shared a news article saying she has made Karan more ‘popular than his all his work." Kangana and Karan have been at loggerheads ever since she appeared on ‘Koffee With Karan 5.’ The episode was the most controversial and explosive one with Ranaut accusing the filmmaker of nepotism. Meanwhile, in a recent interview with NDTV, Karan Johar opened up about the nepotism topic and stated that it has refused to leave him as he is still trolled and abused for it.

Talking about Koffee With Karan 7, the first episode of the show will be graced by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Both the actors will be seen at their candid best and making some shocking revelations. The chat show premieres from July 7th onwards on Disney+Hotstar.
