Bollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz recently grabbed headlines after reports emerged that she has been banned by the Tamil film industry. As per reports, she took a hefty amount in advance for a Tamil film but she never shot for the film. Following this, the film producer suffered huge losses and filed a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). However, as per the latest report in IndiaToday, the news of her ban is untrue.
It was reported that the Main Tera Hero actress, who began her career in South films, took an advance payment for a film however she failed to appear for the shoot. This resulted in huge financial losses for the producer and thus, a ban on Ileana appearing in Tamil films was reportedly imposed. However, a report in Indian Today rubbishes all such stories. Last month, Ileana got admitted to a hospital. The actress shared her photos where she was seen lying in the hospital bed with an IV tube attached to her wrist.
On the work front, Ileana was seen in Kookie Gulati’s directorial ‘The Big Bull’. She has a slew of exciting projects like ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’ and an untitled ‘Shirsha Guha’ in the kitty. Her last Tamil film was Ileana's last Tamil film was with Thalapathy Vijay in Nanban which was released in 2012.
