A night prior to her birthday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a host of guests to attend to on the Diwali bash, but yesterday, on her birthday Mrs Bachchan downplayed the celebration.
Only close friends, like Manish Malhotra, Goldie Behl with wife Sonali Bendre, Sikander Kher, Kunal Kapoor with wife Naina Bachchan were spotted entering Jalsa last night to celebrate Aishwaryas’s birthday.
Hubby Abhishek Bachchan was by the birthday girl’s side throughout. Both played perfect hosts as they came out to drop all their guests.
While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose white again as the colour of her birthday costume, even Abhishek chose a simple white Kurta pyjama which he teamed up with a Nehru jacket. Both looked adorable!
Recently at the Diwali bash, Aishwarya was spotted wearing a beautiful off-white embellished Manish Malhotra creation. She looked dazzling with perfect red lips complimenting her subtle look. Even Abhishek Bachchan chose a white Sherwani for the occasion.
Others who attended Bachchan's gala bash, were Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Athiya Shetty with parents Suniel and Mana Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Manish Malhotra, David Dhawan and wife, Arshad Warsi and others.
On work front, Aishwarya’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is running strong at the box office. The film has got mixed reviews but is overall being appreciated by the junta. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor.
Coming back to Aishwarya’s birthday bash, although it was a low-key affair, we hope that she had a great birthday!
