In a recent interview, Vanga vehemently criticized film critics, asserting their lack of judgment in reviewing movies. A video clip of his conversation with a film journalist surfaced on social media, where the director expressed disdain, suggesting that reviewers like Rajeev Masand, Anupama Chopra, and Suchitra Tyagi lack understanding of filmmaking. He emphasized that the film's success on its opening day isn't due to critics' reviews but rather attributed to the film's craftsmanship, which he believes critics fail to acknowledge due to their alleged lack of education and knowledge in film analysis. The Kabir Singh director said "They have no sense to criticise a film or review a film. They only see the sensitive part of the film and speak.
