Sonam Kapoor and
Anand Ahuja are officially married and their pictures look straight out of a
fairy-tale. The couple got married in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony with
family and close friends in attendance.

super excited Sonam goes first to put the Varmala over Anand.
Later, Sonam
calls her husband Anand Babu and her mom Sunita Kapoor promptly tells her: Now

Sonam looked
ethereal in a red lehenga by Anuradha Vakil, with elaborate jewellery. Anand
opted for a beige sherwani.
The wedding
celebrations began with an intimate Mehendi ceremony on
Sunday at the Kapoor residence in Juhu which has been lit like a
dream for the past few days.
Dulhe Raja Anand
Ahuja was greeted with loud music and Dhol beats as he arrived at the Juhu
bungalow for the function.
Karan Johar,
Janhvi, Khushi, Arjun, Boney, Sanjay, Rani Mukerji, Mohit Marwah, Masaba Gupta
and others were in attendance.
The official
Mehendi ceremony took place yesterday at Signature Island, BKC, where the
couple let their hair down.
While Sonam was
dressed in a white and gold embroidered lehenga by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, the
groom wore a simple wore a cream and gold bandhgala.
A bevy of celebs
such as Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan,
Shilpa Shetty, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Swara Bhasker among others were
seen at the do.

Sonam and Anand’s
love story began in 2014 when the duo met through a common friend. After a year
of making various appearances together and PDA posts on social media, Sonam and
Anand finally decided to take the plunge.
The wedding took
place at Rockdale, Bandra. This is Sonam’s aunt’s bungalow. The day will end
with a fancy party at The Leela, Mumbai. This bash will commence at 8 pm. A large number of Bollywood personalities are
