Since the COVID-19 pandemic has been taking a toll on the lives of people in India, the government has been ensuring safety measures to make sure the people in the country are safe. Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also declared a Janta curfew on the upcoming Sunday so that the people are safe. Now, celebrities Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and others send out a message to fans for their safety in fighting the #WarAgainstVirus with CM Uddhav Thackeray.

On Twitter, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray shared a video for the people of the state. The tweet read, “Let us all come together & win this #WarAgainstVirus Thank you @RSPicturez & all the artists for this.” The video features Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Shilpa Shetty collaborating together to spread the safety message to fans.

In the video, the celebrities urge fans to stay safe and healthy and avoid travel during these crucial days. The celebrities also ask fans around the country to eat healthy, wash their hands regularly and avoid touching the mouth and face. Fighting the #WarAgainstVirus, Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Please Please Please inn neeyamo ka paalan karein, apne aur doosron ki suraksha ke liye. Meanwhile, as the state government has been taking preventive measures to avoid the spreading of the virus moving from Stage 2 to Stage 3, in Maharashtra currently, the honourable chief minister has ordered close down of malls, cinema halls, swimming pools and lots more advising the people to stay in self-isolation at home.
