I used to call him my brother from another mother. Besides being unbelievably talented he was so gentle & sweet. I’m so heartbroken that I did not get to say Goodbye my sweet @wajidkhan7 I will miss you & our jam sessions forever. Till we meet again #RIP #WajidKhan #Gonetoosoon pic.twitter.com/RAq0pqHJwY

One thing I will remember about #wajid bhai was that he loved the film industry. Selfless he would call and talk about a song he had just heard from a film of mine. Then call the composer, lyricists and singers. He loved being part of this fraternity. Always smiling. #RIPWajid

He debuted in the industry in the year 1998 with Salman Khan-Kajol’s film Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and since then he was working with his brother Sajid Khan. Later he went on to work on Bollywood movies such as Hello Brother, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke and more and since then there was no looking back for the musician and composer.
