Bollywood industry lost a gem of a music composer as Wajid Khan passed away. He was one half of Bollywood music composer duo Sajid-Wajid and was aged 42. Sajid Khan confirmed while speaking to PTI that Wajid dies of a cardiac arrest and had tested positive for Coronavirus. It is also being reported that he suffered from a prolonged kidney and heart ailment. Among Sajid-Wajid’s notable works, was the music they composed for Salman Khan’s hit franchise Dabangg. Salman Khan took to his Twitter and wrote that he will remember him always and miss him as well as his talent. His tweet read, “Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ...” His brother Arbaaz Khan, and producer of the Dabangg franchise had also tweeted a few hours ago, expressing his grief.
In his tweet, Arbaaz Khan wrote, “RIP Wajid bhai you will be deeply missed. The music industry has lost a gem. Gone to soon. My heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and friends. Allah jannat naseeb kare.”

Sajid-Wajid have given the music for many of Salman Khan’s films. In fact, they made their debut as music directors with Salman Khan starrer Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.
