Nobody can forget the infamous fight between Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi, way back in 2003. The press conference in which Vivek accused Salman of drunk-calling him 41 times and threatening to kill him as the actor was dating Aishwarya Rai at the time; the actress had walked out on ex-lover Salman. Who had thought that one incident would hit Vivek’s career really bad.
Now, after 16 long years, that incident still comes to haunt Mr Oberoi as during every interview, he gets reminded of it somehow. As Vivek has been promoting his upcoming film PM Narendra Modi, in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, here’s how he was reminded of it.
In a rapid fire segment, Vivek was asked if Salman was given a truth serum, what he would ask him. Vivek replied, “Do you truly believe in forgiveness?” From his comment, it’s evident that the actor wants to mend his relations with the Sultan actor.

On the work front, Vivek’s next, the PM Narendra Modi biopic has been embroiled in several controversies due to the nature of the subject. The movie that was to initially release on April 11 was postponed as the Election Commission stalled the release till the Lok Sabha elections. The last update on this entire controversy is that producer Sandip Ssingh moved to Supreme Court and it has asked the EC to watch the biopic and give them the decision in a sealed cover by April 22.
Let’s see what happens on that day. Will the movie finally get relief and a confirmed date of release or will it still have to struggle to hit the big screens?
