Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise changed the entire ecosystem in Bollywood, and he is often remembered by his fans and Bollywood celebrities. While many are regularly known to pay tributes to the late actor, Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri shared a throwback selfie with SSR on Thursday evening. The director remembered his conversations with him and how the two would bond.
Taking to Twitter, Vivek Agnihotri posted an old monochrome selfie which features him and Sushant clicking a candid selfie. He was dressed in a baseball cap and striped sweater.
Sharing the picture, Vivek wrote, “Remembering Sushant Singh Rajput. Am exactly at the same place where we spent many evenings talking about life, cosmos, God’s particle, @shekharkapur’s #Paani and struggles of a middle class, small town person in Bollywood.”
For the unversed, Sushant was reportedly a self-confessed nerd and his interests often ranged from Particle Physics to Astrophysics. An engineering dropout, he had often expressed his regret about not being able to get his degree.
Interestingly, Paani, which Vivek mentioned in his tweet, was an ambitious film launched by Shekhar Kapur with Sushant in lead.
However, the film was shelved months after the actor had begun preparing for it as Yash Raj Films pulled out.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who is widely known for playing Manav in Pavitra Rishta, was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on 14th June 2020. He was 34. His death was investigated from several angles and a drug case was linked to his demise. The drugs-related investigation led to the arrest of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother, Showik and they were granted bail.
