Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihoti is known for sharing his views unabashedly during media interactions and on social media. He has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry and has become one of the most-discussed filmmakers on social media, in recent times. He recently reacted to the changes suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s much-awaited film OMG 2.

In an interview with India.com, the filmmaker, who is also a part of the CBFC, expressed how he doesn’t agree with the changes as it is not justified. For the unversed, Akshay was playing the character of Lord Shiva in the movie, however, it was later changed to ‘a messenger of the Hindu God.’ Talking about how he is against the changes in the movie, he stated that it happened because of ‘social and religious pressures.’ Stating that the CBFC is a vulnerable body which doesn’t do well under pressure, he questioned who they are to give a movie 27 cuts.
