Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have purchased a luxurious weekend home in Alibaug. Yes, you read that right! The couple reportedly got struck in Alibaug's Zirad village during the Covid-19 pandemic and they spend a lot of quality time at the villa. As per reports, their dreamy 4BHK home has a blend of modern and classic decor with ample greenery just like Virat wanted.
Virushka’s weekend villa is located in Awas village and has four bedrooms, two covered car garages, four bathrooms with powder rooms, a terrace, outdoor dining, a private pool, outdoor open space, and staff quarters. The couple’s Alibaug home is said to be priced between Rs 10.5 crore and Rs 13 crore. Aditya Kilachand, CEO and founder of Avas Wellness, told ETPanache Digital that Virat did not want flashy and over the top décor, he wanted to give his villa a modern and classic decor with greenery around to evoke a feeling of calmness. Earlier, the couple had purchased an eight-acre land parcel at Alibaug. They made two separate transactions for nearly Rs 19.24 crore. Virat and Anushka have also recently rented a flat for Rs 2.76 lakh in Mumbai's Juhu area. The duo owns many luxurious properties and their grand house in Mumbai is nothing less than a dream home.
Meanwhile, Anushka is making her comeback to acting with the upcoming sports drama 'Chakda Xpress', where she plays former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami. The actress has left no stone unturned to perfect her role in the film. This is her first project after becoming a mother and the film will release on the OTT platform Netflix. Sharma was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero.
