Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming venture VD18, which is helmed by Jawan’s filmmaker Atlee. Known for his dedication towards his roles and characters, he started shooting for the project last month and will be seen alongside actress Keerthy Suresh. As the excitement towards the upcoming action-packed project is at an all time high, the actor's were seen enjoying an auto rickshaw ride in Mumbai.

Videos of the same are currently going viral on social media. While Keerthy looks beautiful dressed in a t-shirt and sweatpants, paired with sneakers, on the other hand, Varun is seen in a white tank top, jeans and shoes. Both actors seem to be indulging in a pleasant conversation as they are laughing. Fans were ecstatic seeing the bond between them, as they expressed their excitement  for the upcoming movie. However, a section of netizens also brutally trolled Varun for his bad acting and choice of clothing. Taking to the comment section of Voompla’s video, netizens mocked the actor. One said, “One of the worst actor in recent Bollywood.” Another one said, “Showoff actor.. over acting ki dukan...” Other one said, “Bhot bhot nakli. Talking about VD18, the movie is produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani. Directed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees, the movie also features Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. The film is reportedly scheduled to release in May 2024.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-criticised Bawaal, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. It was released on July 21 on Amazon Prime Video. He has Citadel, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Bhediya 2, a sequel to his 2022 horror comedy in his pipeline.
