Sonu Sood turned into a real-life hero when Coronavirus gripped the nation. The actor has been tagged as the ‘messiah’ who helped millions across the country during the pandemic. Carry forward his act of kindness, on Tuesday the actor helped a boy who met with a severe car accident near his hometown Moga. A video of Sonu rescuing the young boy has surfaced on social media. The actor is seen helping the boy by unlocking the doors of a car and pulling out the unconscious boy from the car.
According to several media reports, the accident took place at the flyover when Sonu Sood was passing by. As soon as the actor saw the damaged car on the flyover, he stepped out of his car and rescued the injured boy. He himself picked the unconscious boy from the car and took him to the nearest hospital. The Dabangg actor not only accompanied the boy to the hospital but was also present there while he was undergoing treatment. Reportedly, the accident could have proved fatal for the youngster if Sonu wouldn’t have lent help to the boy on time.
During the time of the Covid- 19 pandemic, when poor people were in desperate need of basic medical needs, it was Sonu who was the first to come out in their support by going out of the box to help them. While giving an interview to a web portal, Sonu shared that he connected with more than 7.5 lakh people during pandemic times where he not only helped them to reach their homes but also provided employment by starting a program called ‘Pravasi Rojgar.’
