Vidyut Jammwal is majorly known for performing high-octane stunts in the movies. He is currently busy promoting his film Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 Agni Pariksha. Recently during a promotional event in Delhi, he opened up about losing his dear friend Sidharth Shukla and how he managed to cope with his demise.
At the event, the Commando actor opened up about the demise of his friend Sidharth Shukla. He said that he has not been able to fully heal from the loss. He added that whenever he sees a photo or video of Shukla on social media or gets into a conversation like this, he goes down memory lane.
While discussing the process to come out of this kind of emotionally exhausting phase he was quoted by India.com saying, “There can’t be a process to come out of something so emotional. You just go through it. When you go through it, you realise the extent of it. You can’t be imagining something like this. You can’t think like ‘how would I react if someone close to me dies tomorrow’. The thought that comes at that time is not right”.
While speaking about Sidharth’s mom, whom he lovingly calls Rita Ma said that she helped him a lot to deal with an emotional situation and added that she was his pillar and strength for him.
“I learned a very beautiful thing from his mom that I swear I had never heard before. His mom changed my life. I met her recently and there’s something she told me. Aunty never cried after Sidharth’s demise and even now, you will never see her shedding tears. She told me, ‘Vidyut, scene kya hai? Itne log uske liye ro rahe hain. Main nahi rougi ab. Mera beta upar hai aur usko pata hona chahye ki baaki sab ro rahe hain par his Maa is strong.’ This is what takes you back. You can’t be prepared for this.” said Jammwal.
He had also uploaded a video on social media, post the demise of his friend, and said his heart out.
