Vidya Balan is currently basking in the success of her latest release ‘Jalsa’ which has received an amazing response from both audiences and critics alike. The actress, who is known to express herself, in a recent interview has opened up about the low phase in her career. She revealed that she has been seeking help from a healer for the past 11 years and it has brought a positive change in her life.
The 43-yer-old actress during a summit hosted by ABP recalled the lowest phase of her career and said that it was the toughest time as she started believing that it is all because of the miscalculations she made, but later she realized that highs and lows are part of life. She was quoted as saying, "My decisions are very instinctive, but at that time, I started to decode. There was a fear that, 'maybe what I've gone through is just fluke success'. The first time around when that happened, I was tough on myself. I was not that hard on myself this time because I was getting work and wonderful work. Further while speaking at the summit, the ‘Paa’ actress revealed that she has been working with a healer for 11 years now which helped her to have a clear outlook on many things. Vidya added, “It's a lot like therapy. She gives me a lot of tools to change the way I think. For example, if I'm feeling anxiety right now and I say, 'Anxiety, you can leave now', I suddenly feel a change in the way I'm breathing. It works magically, you tap certain points on your body. Healing helped me to calm down.”
Balan concluded by saying she is indeed in the best phase of her career, and because of that her health has started showing progress.
