Broken Horses, the director’s first true Hollywood film, will have a grand premiere in Los Angeles soon
The films he produces have been doing very well, from the Munnabhai series to 3 Idiots and PK, though his last as a director, Eklavya, was a bit of a dud. And now Vidhu Vinod Chopra has taken a new road with Broken Horses, his first Hollywood film as director. The movie releases April 10 and stars Vincent Dnofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette and Maria Valverde, among others. It tells the story of brotherhood, loyalty and violence, set against a backdrop of gang wars between the United States and Mexico.
But the excitement begins with a red carpet premiere in Los Angeles, where all Vidhus friends including James Cameron and Alfonso Cuaron - and the whos who of Hollywood will be present, along with some top stars from Bollywood, we presume, like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. This should be a night to remember!
