Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal starring film Uri: The Surgical Strike was a critical and commercial success. The film won hearts and Kaushal was also honoured with the National Award that year, for his performance. On Sunday, Vicky Kaushal made a visit to the Uri base camp in Kashmir, after receiving an invitation. The Uri: The Surgical Strike actor took to his Instagram to share pictures from his recent visit to the Uri base camp. And, he also thanked the Indian Army for inviting him.

Vicky Kaushal shared the pictures and wrote, “My heartfelt thanks to the Indian Army for inviting me to the Uri Base Camp, Kashmir.” Thanking the Indian Army, he added, “Thank You for giving me an opportunity to spend a lovely day with the locals who were so full of warmth and amazingly talented.” In his post’s caption, the actor expressed how being in the company of the country’s armed forces was the biggest honour for him. Vicky concluded his post with, “Thank You. Jai Hind” As soon as the actor shared pictures on his Instagram, comments from his fans started flooding in. One fan wrote, “Hats off Vicky!” Another commented, “Proud” ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar also commented, “Brings back so many memories!!”

In the pictures, the actor looks extremely happy surrounded by soldiers of the Indian army. Vicky was dressed perfectly for his meeting. He wore a white shirt paired with cargo pants and a blue and black zipper.
