While India entered the fifth phase of COVID-19 lockdown, it eased out some rules for certain industries allowing them to work only after they follow certain guidelines laid in order to curtail the pandemic. One of these is the showbiz industry, as shootings, and pre and post-production work of certain TV shows and films is said to resume. Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie, Sardar Udham Singh, too is back on track, as the actor in his latest Instagram post shared that the post-production of this film will resume from Monday.
While he shared this news, he also shared a movie still along with it, where he is looking dapper in a trench coat leaning over a car as he has a conversation with the director Shoojit Sircar. In the caption announcing the same, he mentioned how the human race obeyed nature and slowed down, but now the long contained joy is bubbling back. He concluded his post by mentioning the date when the post-production of this film resumes.
Vicky wrote in his caption, “When nature beckoned, We listened... We switched gears, From fast forward to slow motion... Now, there is a call again, An excitement, yet a caution. And a hunger to reboot, With this feeling. We begin, again... #SardarUdhamSingh. Post production set to #BeginAgain, tomorrow –8th June.”
In conversation with PTI, director Shoojit Sircar had also mentioned this film’s post production to be a lengthy process. “It’s a difficult film and it needs a long post-production time,” he said.
