Varun Dhawan recently completed 8 years in the Hindi film industry and posted a heartfelt note thanking fans on social media, for the love they showered on him. He thanked his fans for believing in him when no one else did. In terms of Varun, it’s pretty evident he shares a close bond with his parents and has immense respect for them. Now, after recently dismissing a report that stated a rift between him and dad David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan took to his social media to react to another ‘fabricated story’ about his father.
On Twitter, in a tweet on Wednesday, the Coolie No 1 actor wrote, “Guys u can write how many ever make-belief stories about me but don’t make up things about my dad.” Varun Dhawan warned that any belief stories related to him can be written, but asked to not make up things about filmmaker David Dhawan. The actor wrote, “This is a completely fabricated story,” and slammed the article in his tweet. He then concluded by informing fans that he will see them during Christmas to make them laugh.
For the unversed, according to a report in Box Office Worldwide, Varun Dhawan’s father David Dhawan is working on a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s film Namak Halaal. The report also stated that the remake is set to star Varun in the lead. Varun Dhawan slammed a report published by the portal and dismissed it. Check out Varun Dhawan’s tweet below:
