Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's wedding has become a never-ending topic for the couple and also for the media. The last update on their wedding was that it will take place in May, in Jodhpur. Then came a news that keeping the rising numbers of Coronavirus infected patients in mind, the families are considering a small ceremony in Mumbai itself.
However, that has also been called-off. SpotboyE.com has found out that the bookings for May have been cancelled and the wedding has been shifted to mid-December 2020.
"About the location, nothing is fixed. As of now, there is a thought process of shifting the venue back to Thailand. But all that depends on how the Coronavirus spread fizzles out and what is the travel advisory at that time. For now, the families have just postponed the wedding to December 2020," a source tells us.
Not just Varun and Natasha, recent reports suggest that Richa and Ali, too, have postponed their April wedding, which was scheduled to happen in Delhi. The couple was expecting a lot of guests from overseas, especially from Europe and the US.
Hindustan Times quoted a source, “Many of their guests were to fly in from the US and Europe for the do. Also, the couple was hoping to have their nuptials in Delhi, which is currently on a partial lockdown. So, they think it’s best to delay the wedding to later this year.”
Well, we're sure it wasn't an easy and pleasant decision to be taken by both the couples and their families, but guess it is the need of the hour!
