Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is in headlines past few days as the film almost got leaked online. Last night, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to thank the Crime Branch for their swift action in the case and also urged his industry friends to come forward and spread a message against piracy.

He wrote, “The fight against piracy is critical and it’s reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. I would like to urge friends, fans, colleagues and audiences to please say no to piracy. Thank you all for your support (sic).”

While a lot of fans came in full support, B-Town celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, and Neil Nitin Mukesh also voiced out their opinion.

The Mubarakaan actor Arjun Kapoor tweeted "This fight we all must fight along with every fan of @akshaykumar...A film is made for the big screen not to be pirated for homes or mobiles"

Parineeti Chopra, who will soon be sharing the big screen opposite Arjun Kapoor and Akshay Kumar in Namastey Canada also re-tweeted Akki's post.

Neil Nitin Mukesh tweeted "There is no doubt that this fight is not yours alone. We are all with you sir @akshaykumar..."

Varun Dhawan, who last shared the screen with Akshay Kumar in Dishoom, also took to his Twitter account to share his views on the same. He tweeted "Piracy is a serious problem which is killing our film industry. Guys please do not support piracy watch films only in the theatre."
