Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal became Mr and Mrs on January 24. They exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony held in Alibaug. Due to the Coronavirus situation, the Dhawans had to keep the event pretty short with only a limited number of guests invited. However, speculations were being made that Varun and Natasha are planning to organise a reception on February 2 for the friends from the fraternity whom they could not invite for the wedding. But is it true? Uncle Anil Dhawan spills the beans.
To Pinkvilla, uncle Anil Dhawan stated that the reception reports are false. No such event is being planned, he stated. "Asia kuch nahin hai (Nothing like that is happening). Hoga toh uska date dekhenge (If it happens, we’ll decide on the date), everybody is busy with their respective things. Whatever you’ll are hearing is not true," he was quoted saying.
Earlier, it was uncle Anil Dhawan who had confirmed the news of Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's wedding. In an interview with Subhash K Jha for SpotboyE, he had said, "My nephew Varun is getting married on 24 January. I am looking forward to it."
Talking about the wedding, Varun recently shared some candid pictures from the event. Those who were invited were Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Kunal Kohli, Shashank Khaitan and others. There was no-phones policy at the wedding and hence, we haven't got to see many inside pictures as yet. But Varun made sure to treat us with some of the nicest pictures from his wedding on social media.
