Actor and global icon, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is gearing up to release her upcoming memoir titled Unfinished soon. The actress who recently completed 20 glorious years in the entertainment industry after she won the Miss World 2000 pageant, gave fans a glimpse of her memoir cover on October 2, on social media. Now, as PeeCee is all for the release of her book, she opened up about her memoir titled Unfinished and spoke about the portion of her personal life included in the book.
Speaking with ETimes, the Padma Shri award holder said that her memoir titled Unfinished will show the human side of her. During the interview, Priyanka was asked if her book will also talk about the struggles, rejection she faced in life, or the heartbreaks she had, which is common to every human being. Reacting to the same, the actress said, “The book will give you an insight into my journey in my words… it’s sort of the ‘in-between interviews’ version of my life, the public version versus my real story.” As the actress had had a remarkable, almost fairy-tale like the journey so far, she continued, “People may see it as a fairy tale. I’m glad it was perceived so. I’ve always been private about my struggles which I will discuss in the book.”
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has been in the limelight since she was 18 revealed she will discuss her struggles in the book. Later, as memoirs are extremely personal that give away less about a person, Priyanka also reacted and answered when she was asked if it was too challenging to retain the chapters of her life that were related to failed relationships, facing unsavoury incidents as an actress in the film industry, racism and beyond. In her reply, PeeCee said, “That’s for me to know and you to find out when you read the book. As I said, it is a vulnerable version of me that only I can explain, a curtains-down look at my life in my words.”
