At Umang, Mumbai
Police every year manages to bring in the crème de la crème from Bollywood come
together for a gala night to celebrate the efforts put in the people in
uniform. Last evening, the who's who of Bollywood came together under one roof
to celebrate these efforts.
When it came to
Umang 2018, every star pulled out the best in their wardrobes. But there were
only a few who carried it off well, while there were many who just weren't up

Many celebs went
on stage and entertained thoroughly. There were some who sung and then there
were others who belted out dialogues from their movies to make the hardworking
police feel loved.
Alia Bhatt went
on stage to sing a song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil while Karan Johar and Maniesh
Paul accompanied her in the seconds.

Akshay Kumar was seen sporting a buzz cut look during the show and he went on stage along with Mika Singh and belted out some of the chart buster songs. Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul accompanied them in the seconds.

Shah Rukh Khan as the absolute charmer, spoke to a few lady police officers, and looking deep into their eyes said the romantic dialogue from his film Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). SRK said, "Teri aankhon ki namkeen mastiyan Teri hansi ki beparwaah gustakhiyaan Teri zulfon ki leharaati angdaiyaan Nahi bhoolunga main Jab tak hai jaan, jab tak hai jaan (sic)."

Anil Kapoor too was in high spirits as he belted out a dumdaar dialogue from his film, Shootout At Wadala (2013). He said, "Police ki goli mein itna loha hai ki agar ekbaar thok di na to zindagi bhar khoon mein iron ki kami nahi hogi (sic)."

Some of our favourtite B-Town women also had heartfelt messages for the Mumbai Police. Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon took to stage to share some of their own experiences and thereby send out a message to motivate the people in uniform.
