Actress turned author Twinkle Khanna recently announced the distribution of 100 oxygen concentrators along with her husband Akshay Kumar for the people battling COVID-19.  The actress kept her promise. She shared two pictures on her social media account of distributing their third lot of oxygen concentrators in Punjab and Delhi. Prior to this she had successfully arranged for oxygen concentrators for patients in Delhi battling COVID-19. In her tweets she thanked the organisations she joined hands to help COVID-19 patients.

Her Tweets read, “Another lot being distributed among patients in Punjab with the help of @khalsaaid_india,” and “Our third lot being distributed to patients in Delhi thanks to @Hemkunt_Fdn” Praising the actress for the efforts to save as many lives as possible one of the Twitter users urged the actress to now concentrate on other states also battling COVID-19. The tweet read, “Very good.. cases going down in delhi..focus on up, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra” Another user tweeted, “@mrsfunnybones a verry thanks for ur support on this situation in our nation”

It was in April 2021, when Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19, after being quarantined at his residence, he was shifted to city hospital for precautionary measures. The star couple has been doing their bit for a year now that the country is battling this deadly virus.
