Actor Tusshar Kapoor is all set to don the author’s hat with his debut book titled  ‘Bachelor Dad’ which chronicles the actor’s journey of embracing fatherhood. For the unversed, the Golmaal star in 2016 opted for surrogacy and became a father to son Laksshya Kapoor. In his book, Tusshar has bared his heart out as he spoke on several aspects of being a single parent. In a recent interview, the actor talked about apprehensions he had before becoming a father.

While speaking to PTI, Tusshar admitted that he was nervous before taking this step. There were many questions that came to his mind. He was quoted saying, “There were lots of questions that came to my mind as well. (For example) if people will accept it positively? Will there be too much of a shock? Will there be a backlash in the media because I was breaking cultural norms? The book sheds light on all these queries and also chronicles how I decided to take the plunge and eventually found my true inner calling.”

The 45-year-old actor also revealed that people would often ask him to write down his experience of raising a child as a single parent in the form of a book but he initially thought it was a “far-fetched idea.” Two years ago, when publishing house Penguin India approached him with the idea, he thought it was the right opportunity to address those questions and to share his experience with the world.
