A lot of things have happened, unfolded and shaken us in the past few days. A majority of them chronicle around Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely and tragic death, while others are around nepotism, which is again a topic that gained immense discussion and criticism post-Sushant's demise. Right from Sushant's rumoured ex-girlfriend Kriti Sanon talking to his grieving dad to Kangana Ranaut opening a can of worms about Hrithik, from Karan Johar reportedly stepping down from the MAMI board to Hina Khan's boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal slamming Sonam Kapoor over her tweet on karma. Well, here's a quick and short recap of our most talked-about stories this week.
Soon after the news broke, Sushant's rumoured ex-girlfriend Kriti Sanon was among the first ones to visit him to pay last respects. She also met his father; in fact, Kriti was among the few people who spoke to him. Sushant's father, in an interview with Tadka Bollywood, said, "Aaye toh bohot log the lekin humse sirf Kriti Sanon mili thi, ha wo baith ke baat kiya. Hum toh baat nahi kiya, wo jo bol rahi thi hum sunte gaye. Aaye sablog aaye, par Corona ke chalte sab dur hi the. Kyuki muh pe mask tha toh hum kisiko pehechane nahi. Kriti Sanon bagal mein baithi thi na aur kisine bataya toh malum hua ki...par wo thi ya nahi thi wo malum nahi ha par ek smart ladki thi aur bol rahi thi ki pyaara ladka tha, yehi sab baat hai."
Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, who has been a part of the MAMI board for a long time. However, in the wake of all the social media criticism and the enraging debate around nepotism, he has reportedly submitted his resignation from the board. KJo hasn't been active on social media either.
Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's much controversial alleged ex-affair hasn't been hidden from the world. The Queen actor, time and again, drops in a bomb in regards to Roshan. In her recent interview with Pinkvilla, she accused the latter of terming her a 'gold digger' and spreading rumours that she was behind his money. She, of course, rubbished all such claims and asserted how this is how girls who come from small towns to make a career in the film industry are treated.
The backlash surrounding nepotism after Sushant Singh Rajput's demise made Sonam Kapoor tweet about how being born to someone like Anil Kapoor is her karma and that she is proud of it. This, however, didn't go down well with the netizens, including Hina Khan's boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal, and he went on to slam the actor. Rocky, in his tweet, wrote, "So, every individual who’s been denied d opportunity they deserved bcoz of #Privileges n #Nepotism deserved it for their ‘Karma’ in thr past life? By that logic, I can’t begin to imagine ur next life @sonamakapoor! Respectfully M’am, I expected better frm U given ur fathers BG.”
Btw this western version of a sacred cosmic balance is d reason why d poor r left in this country on d roads by d rich, privileged n powerful. Justifying cruelty in d name of ‘Karma’ by d high, mighty n powerful.Thumbs up for accepting ur reality n respect ur opinion otherwise!✌🏽

Sushant's love for science, astronomy, space and Shiva was known to all. The actor was so much into his interests that he even bought land on the moon and a super-expensive telescope to gaze at the stars and his tukda on chand. The late actor's father, in a conversation with Tadka Bollywood, revealed how Sushant used to often see his property on the moon through his precious telescope. "Haan chand pe khareeda tha aur apna plot 55lakh ke binocular se dekhta tha (Yes, he had bought some property on the moon and used to often watch it with his telescope worth 55 lakh)," revealed Sushant's father.
