After Bollywood celebs wished luck and cheered Indian athletes representing India at Tokyo Olympics on Friday. They were proud of one of the athletes for bagging the first medal at the tournament. Mirabai Chanu made India proud as she bagged a silver medal on the very first day of this grand sports tournament in Tokyo. Bollywood stars are proud of Mirabai Chanu after her big win at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday. Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, and multiple other actors took to Twitter to share their wishes for Mirabai, who bagged a silver medal in weightlifting in the Women's 49kg category. Bollywood celebrating this big win showered Mirabai with praises and congratulated her for it. The list includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and more.  

Also congratulating her was Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Sharing a picture, he tweeted, “Could not have asked for a happier start to @Tokyo2020! India is elated by @mirabai_chanu’s stupendous performance. Congratulations to her for winning the Silver medal in weightlifting. Her success motivates every Indian. #Cheer4India #Tokyo2020.” Abhishek Bachchan who is sport enthusiast tweeted, “Congratulations @mirabai_chanu on bringing India a silver medal in weightlifting and giving us a strong start!” Anil Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations @mirabai_chanu !!This is incredible!!” Dia Mirza called this moment a precious one and credited Mirabai Chanu for creating history. 

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Kangana Ranaut, Swara Bhasker, Ritesh Deshmukh too joined the bandwagon.
