From spearheading
one of the most successful and relevant banners in the country today, to being
sharp entrepreneurs who understand the pulse of the entertainment market,
producers Prernaa Arora & Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment are fast
becoming a force to reckon with.
Their first film
Rustom, based on the real life incident of Naval Officer KM Nanavati, went on
to win superstar Akshay Kumar his first National award as the film highlighted
the changing face of the Indian judicial system.
The new-age
studio then gained momentum with the successful Toilet: Ek Prem Katha that
highlighted the importance of an improved state of sanitation in the rural
parts of India and yesterday won the the award for the "Extra
Ordinary Impact Film" at the Zee Cine Awards 2018.
While receiving
the award, Prernaa Arora said, “It's an honour to receive this award. Thank you
Zee and thank you to everyone who supported the film and appreciated our effort
of talking about a socially relevant subject. This is special and very
encouraging."
With the
resounding success of their last two blockbusters RUSTOM and TOILET – EK PREM
KATHA, it is hardly a surprise that KriArj Entertainment's slate of films
boasts strong content and interesting, clutter breaking subjects, many of which
touch upon other relevant and important stories that impact the nation at
large.
