Known for her beauty, Aishwarya Rai is one of the finest
actresses, a loving wife and doting mother. But did you know that the beauty
queen, who made whole India proud when she was crowned as Miss World in the
1994 pageant, is also a great singer.
We found a video clip of the actress doing the rounds on
social media. In this 1998 clip from an episode of Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, the
show’s host, late actor Farooq Sheikh, asks Aishwarya to sing a few lines when
her co-actor Chandrachur Singh tells the audience that she has a hidden talent.

On the work front, Aishwarya is currently gearing up for
Fanney Khan, whose teaser was dropped online a few days back. In the teaser,
Rajkummar Rao is the sutradhar, i.e. he narrates the story of the film in his
deep baritoned voice. Anil Kapoor was seen playing the trumpet while
Aishwarya's uber chic character was introduced briefly.
Talking about the film, Fanney Khan is the Hindi
adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release Everybody's Famous directed by Dominique
Deruddere, which was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category
at the 73rd Academy Awards.The film is based on the story of a 17-year-old
aspiring singer whose career takes off after her unemployed father, who also
harbours the dreams of becoming a musician, decides to kidnap the top singer of
the country.
Fanney Khan has been directed by debutant director, Atul
Manjrekar. The film will see Aishwarya Rai paired opposite Rajkummar Rao for
the first time. Fanney Khan will hit theatres on August 3.
