Actress Priyanka Chopra went on to make a mark in Hollywood after establishing herself as a credible actress in the Hindi film industry. With many blockbuster films under her belt, she tied the knot with American musician and actor Nick Jonas, after he approached her on her official social media handle. Having been married since 2018, years after dating each other, they welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022. Well, in an old interview, she had once opened up about her husband’s dating life and expressed how it doesn’t bother her.
During an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Priyanka discussed her approach to marriage. When asked if Nick’s past dating life bothered her, she cleared the air and stated that she wasn’t concerned about his past or who he dated before approaching her. As reported by Bollywood Life, she said that she “doesn't give a f**k” who Jonas dated before her as she doesn’t read her book “backward”. In the interview The Sky Is Pink actress also mentioned that she views their relationship with a “forward-looking perspective” and avoids revisiting their past. As she reflected on their relationship and how it started, Priyanka shared that Nick had approached her on her Twitter DM. While she didn’t know who he was, back then, she quickly looked him up and came across his music video ‘Close’. Captivated by his performance and appearance in the video, she reached out to him. Highlighting the special bond that they share, Priyanka added that she still gets deeply affected when Nick sings that song. For the unversed, the couple tied the knot in 2018 at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in two lavish ceremonies after dating for a couple of years. They welcomed their first daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022 via surrogacy. The proud parents are often seen taking to social media to share glimpses of their daughter.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt as well as John Cena and Idris Elba's starrer Heads Of State in the pipeline. She completed shooting for Frank E Flowers’ directorial The Bluff. The movie follows the journey of an ex-female pirate, who embarks on a journey to protect her family. She will reportedly start working on Citadel season 2, along with Richard Madden. On the other hand, Nick Jonas was last seen in the movie The Good Half.
