Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut often makes headlines for taking nasty digs at celebrities. Time and again she has taken a jibe at Alia Bhatt, calling her a ‘nepotism kid.’ Speaking of this, we remember how Kangana once strongly reacted to her performance being pitted against Alia Bhatt in an online poll. In 2019, the Tanu Weds Manu actress received more votes than Bhatt in the poll and while reacting to the same she said the media has taken filmy kids love too far.

Bollywoodlife quoted Kangana as saying, “I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy's performance... Same snappy muh-phat (outspoken) girl... Bollywood's idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far... Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”Interestingly, when Alia was asked about Ranaut’s remarks during the promotions of Kalank, the Raazi actress asserted she respects her work a lot. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. ALSO READ: OMG!
