The entire nation has been mourning the loss of late Bollywood actress Sridevi for over five years now. Touted as India’s first female superstar, she became a role model for many working women. She shared a very special bond with her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor and even after her demise, the actress has kept her mother alive in her thoughts, social media posts and media interactions. The actress, who made her debut alongside Ishaan Khattar with Dhadak, had once opened up about her mother’s reaction to her dating life.
Janhvi, perplexed with her mother’s thought process, would further say, “And I’m like what!? You know we don’t have to get married to every guy we like. Like we can be chill also’.” In reply, the 25-year-old actress’ late mother would say, “Like chill, what does chill mean?”
For the unversed, Sridevi’s career spanned over five decades. She breathed her last due to accidental drowning when she was in Dubai attending her nephew, actor Mohit Marwah’s wedding. Speaking of which, the producer had recently announced the launch of Sridevi’s autobiography 'The Life Of A Legend'.
As reported earlier the biography is written by researcher, writer, and columnist Dhiraj Kumar and it will depict the life of the legendary actress. The book, which is said to be a 360-degree portrait of Sridevi, will reveal many unknown and surprising aspects of the actress's life. The publishers opined that Sridevi’s biography will make readers rediscover the icon.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor has Varun Dhawan's Bawaal and Rajkummar Rao's Mr. & Mrs. Mahi in her pipeline
