The Sky Is Pink has been in the news since the time of its inception and, why not? It marks the much-awaited Bollywood comeback of Priyanka Chopra, after three long years. On Saturday, The Sky Is Pink was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). And it turns out that actress received a five-minute-long standing ovation as soon as its credits rolled. Well, that’s a proud moment for the entire team of The Sky Is Pink indeed.
Now, taking to her Instagram, the global diva has penned a heartwarming note to express her elation about the same and it’s all things emotional. Calling it an as one ‘unforgettable experience, the actress wrote, “A special night with special people, sharing this labour of love which took us over a year to bring to life. It was an unforgettable experience... Thank you Aditi and Niren for trusting us with your story and for joining us at #TheSkyIsPink world premiere at @tiff_net.”
Further, Priyanka Chopra shared her two cents on the makers of the film – Shonali Bose, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. She wrote, “@shonalibose_ you are the true star of this film! #RonnieScrewvala #SiddharthRoyKapur, as always, it’s been amazing collaborating with you. We’ve done some great films together and this one definitely is up there with the rest of them for me.”
Meanwhile, The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles, will make it to the big screens on October 11, 2019. We can’t wait to watch this one already!
