Sayesha’s debut film Shivaay may be months away from release, but the 18-year-old has already caught the eye of many filmmakers. Since she is Saira Banu’s grandniece, you would assume that acting was always on her mind. But the truth is far from that.

Bet you didn’t know that Salman Khan was the first one who suggested to Sayesha that she should join movies.

You see, the Sultan star would occasionally drop by at Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu’s residence. Sayesha, who lived with her parents in the annexe of the same bungalow and was only a student then, would be flitting in and out of their residence.

It was during one of these visits that Salman told Sayesha that she should consider acting.

A carefree girl who didn’t think about Bollywood until then, she was pleasantly surprised that the superstar thought she had it in her to make it in movies. We hear, it was only after this that she seriously started pursuing a career in B-town.
Sure, Salman may not have launched Sayesha the way he took Sonakshi Sinha, Sooraj Pancholi or Athiya Shetty under his wing. But the Dabangg star is her go-to person for career advice as well.
SpotboyE has it that whenever Sayesha is approached for a film, she has a word with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star.
“This is the movie, this is the director, this is the story,” she tells Salman who patiently weighs the options and then advises her accordingly.
Now you know why Salman wanted to see the rushes of Shivaay that feature the newbie (Salman keen to see Shivaay rushes of Saira Banu’s grandniece Sayesha, May 7).
