When Priyanka Chopra left for Hyderabad with her mother to attend Salman Khan’s sister Arpitas wedding, many eyebrows were raised. This is because Salman and Priyanka are not known to be great friends. 
At the wedding, Priyanka was decked in all her finery and happily posed with the other guests including Sania Mirza.
But she really made her presence felt at the wedding when she read out Arpitas handwritten, heartfelt letter to her family. Now, the real reason behind this is producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala.
Probably, on Sajids request, Salman invited Priyanka and even gave her the honour of reading out Arpitas letter.
Salman and Saijd have been good friends for over 20 years and Sajid has often been the mediator between Salman and others when things went a little awry. Sajid has even been good friends with Priyanka since the time they shot for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
So, it seems, that Sajid thought Arpitas wedding would be the perfect occasion for Salman and Priyanka to get that much more comfortable with each other. And that explains Priyankas involvement during the ceremony.
Fun fact: On 18th November, Sajid Nadiadwala celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary to wife Warda Nadiadwala.
