The Kashmir Files traced the story of Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to migrate from their own land by the Islamic militants in 1990. The Special 26 actor plays the role of Pushkar Nath Pandit whose family in the movie faced violence by the Islamic militants. Anupam himself is a Kashmiri Pandit and this could also be one of the reasons that he delivers the dialogues and scenes with so much conviction and honesty. Recently a netizen compared Anupam Kher’s blue paint face from the movie to Heath Ledger’s Joker who also had painted his face in the movie. The poster reads, 'Performances that world will never forget.' The actor is flattered by the love and showed gratitude towards the comparison drawn by the user. A Wednesday actor took to his Twitter handle and re-shared the fan’s post. The actor wrote, "Anonymous compliments are the best because you know they aren't trying to gain anything out of it!!
