After teasing fans with different posters, the makers of The Body starring Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Shobita Dhulipala and Vedhika have dropped the official teaser of the film on social media. A few days back, the release date was recently announced and this suspense thriller is set to hit the screens on one of the most notorious days in mythology - Friday the 13th (December). The Body is based on its Spanish antecedent. The upcoming film marks the debut of the celebrated Malayalam filmmaker, Jeethu Joseph in the Hindi cinema.

Earlier sharing the first official poster of The Body, Emraan Hashmi has taken to social media to unveil the first official poster of the film. Captioning it he had written, “This December, join the search to find #TheBody. Unravel the mystery on Friday the 13th #RishiKapoor,@vedhika4u @sobhitad, @jeethu4ever, @thebodymovie, #Viacom18Studios, @iamazureent, #AjitAndhare, @sunirkheterpal, @tseries.official”
The Body marks the reunion of Shobita Dhulipala and Emraan Hashmi, after starring in Netflix’s espionage thriller Bard of Blood, which also starred Viineet Singh, Kirti Kulhari, Sohum Shah, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rajit Kapoor. As seen in the web series, Emraan and Sobhita portrayed Indian intelligence agents.
