Abhishek Bachchan's new film The Big Bull released on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The film is based on real-life financial fraud that took place in late 80' and early 90' shaking the stock market to no limit. The film directed by Kookie Gulati has opened to mixed responses. While some have loved the film, there are some who are not-so-happy with The Big Bull. One netizen took to social media to criticise Abhishek Bachchan's acting skills but received a cool comment from the actor himself.

A netizen wrote, "As usual @juniorbachchan doesn't disappoint you with his 3rd rate so called acting in a poorly scripted & badly filmed #TheBigBull @pratikg80 & #Scam1992 are far superior by miles." To this, Abhishek Bachchan replied that as long as he is not disappointed, he is happy. "Hey man, as long as I’ve not disappointed you, I’m happy. Thank you for taking the time out to see our film," read AB's comment.

Fans of Abhishek Bachchan are hailing him for the same. Take a look at the tweets below:

Meanwhile, SpotboyE gave The Big Bull three stars. Reviewer Subhash K Jha called it Abhishe's career-defining performance. "Abhishek Bachchan as a Harshad Mehta doppelganger delivers a career-defining performance. His Hemant Shah is wildly ambitious,  sly, mean, egotistic and callous. He gets his way with influential people with his rustic charm and native intelligence. I saw all of this in Abhishek’s smirking performance. I also saw a lot of research go into storytelling. There are alleged facts here about the Harshad scam that shook the nation in the 1980s. They will make you think as well in 2021  about the world around us. The more things change the more they are the same. Yawn," read an excerpt from the review.
