The makers of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi released the trailer of the film, on Tuesday. The trailer of the film got a great and positive response from the audience. Many celebrities including Samantha Akkineni and others took to Twitter to express their thoughts on Kangana’s stellar performance. Now, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma made a tweet, reacting to Ranaut’s performance. RGV, who said he does not want to see Kangana playing the role of Jayalalithaa in the upcoming, heaped praises of the actor’s skills and versatility.

Ram Gopal Varma tweeted, “Hey @KanganaTeam I might disagree with u on certain overreaches in some specific regions but I want to salute u for being so super duper special #ThalaiviTrailer is just MINDBLOWING and I am sure JAYALALITHA must be thrilled in heaven” He told the actress that although he might disagree with her on certain overreaches, he salutes her for being super duper special. RGV called the Thalaivi trailer ‘mindblowing’. Kangana Ranaut then re-tweeted and responded. She mentioned that she doesn’t disagree with the filmmaker on anything, but instead appreciates him very much. Ranaut also thanked RGV for the compliments.

After Kangana Ranaut’s response, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma made another tweet and told her that no other actress in the world has ever had her versatility. The filmmaker told Kangana he felt, her comparing herself with Hollywood’s great actors was a tall claim but apologized to the actress for it.
