In her series of Tweet, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli has revealed what all the actress has been through ever since she has stepped into showbiz. Be it Tanu Weds Manu or Manikarnika, the actress has time and again hurt herself while perfecting her role. A Tamil Nadu reporter recently posted a picture of Kangana from the sets of Thalaivi as she shoots for a song sequence. In her caption, the reporter revealed, Manikarnika actress has put on 8 to 10 kg for her role as Jayalalithaa in Thalaivi.

Not many know, this is not the first time that Kangana has gone an extra mile to perfect her role, even though if it affects her health. Earlier she had got 52 stitches while shooting for Tanu Weds Manu. Kangana’s sister Rangoli went on to reveal, “In TWM Kangana had a bike accident and got 52 stitches in her foot, in Manikarnika her actor accidentally hit her head with a heavy metal sword she got 15 stitches on her forehead, now she has gained lot of weight put her health at stake. Re-Tweeting reporter’s Tweet, Rangoli wrote, “Thank you maam for acknowledging Kangana’s dedication it’s not easy to gain 10kgs within few weeks, her cholesterol got high she has best medical help but still it takes guts to give your all to work”



Meanwhile, the Manikarnika actress has been all out as she’s been shooting extensively for Tamil Nadu's former Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa's biopic
