AIB’s Tanmay Bhat, who was recently in the news for his controversial video over Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, resurfaced to post a comment on Twitter last night.

Though he didn’t take any names, it was clear that the comedian was taking a dig at Bollywood for remaining silent over Salman Khan’s ‘Raped Woman’ statement.

However, on checking it this afternoon, we found the post deleted.

Looks like Tanmay developed second thoughts after posting the tweet. Two controversies in little over a year is perhaps too much for him to handle.

He recently faced public ire over his controversial video over Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar (AIB’s Tanmay Bhat insults Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar?, May 28).

And, the man has a history with Salman himself. Early last year, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor had ‘roasted’ Tanmay after he joked about a Khan-daan member (Salman Threatens AIB's Tanmay!, Feb 3, 2015) during his show.

Rewind. Salman triggered a huge controversy by saying that he felt like a ‘raped woman’ during the hectic shooting schedule of Sultan. All hell broke loose after SpotboyE posted the interview in which the Sultan actor made the controversial statement: “When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman”  (Salman: I have left every vice except women, June 20).
