The lead stars Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan along with director Om Raut were present. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who’s close to Ajay Devgn also was there to support the film.
In the movie, we see Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji Malusare pitted against Saif Ali Khan’s Uday Bhan Singh. When Saif was asked to speak about his character, he revealed that it was an amazing experience and how he went for multiple retakes to get the scenes perfect.
Saif said, “It was a very comfortable shoot and our director Om Raut focused a lot on my character. Even when I used to go for as many as 25 retakes to get it perfect, our director Om Raut used to be so supportive. Also, it wasn’t that the first and second takes weren’t that good. But, in my quest to get it perfect, I suggested we go for multiple retakes.
Ajay quickly interrupted and added, “Yeh apni perfection ke peeche pade the lekin ultimately, first take hi okay hue hai in the end.” With this the entire auditorium burst into peals of laughter.
Finally, Saif says that he had a lot of fun shooting for the film. “It was a crazy character, and it was beautiful,” states Saif.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is directed by Om Raut, produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film will be releasing on January 10, 2020.
