While we hoped 2021 will turn out to be a good year, but COVID-19’s second wave has once again got us trapped. Filmmaker Rahul Dholakia was supposed to kickstart the shooting of his next Shabaash Mithu starring Taapsee Pannu in 2020, but the schedule was pushed ahead to 2021 due to pandemic. Unfortunately, even in 2021, the filmmaker is stuck after the government announced a curfew in Maharashtra with the second wave of the Novel Coronavirus hitting us. As per reports in Times Of India, the film that was supposed to go on floors in Mumbai will now kick start in Hyderabad.
As per reports in TOI, with many TV show producers shifting their shooting locations to release new episodes, the filmmaker is also reportedly changing the shoot location. The source of the said publication also informed Rahul Dholakia reaching Hyderabad. However, it is not known whether the filmmaker will shoot Mumbai portions also in Hyderabad, or he will begin with the Hyderabad schedule first, as the film is said to be shot in both locations.
In Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee will be playing Indian women's cricket team captain, Mithali Dorai Raj; the actress was seen training in the game of cricket for this biopic based on the life of Mithali Dorai Raj.
