The second Sunday in the month of May is celebrated as International Mother’s Day worldwide. The day honors mother’s across the globe and the efforts they take for their family. Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day 2020, filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh shared pictures of Amrita Singh and Vidya Balan playing the roles of mothers in his films with a special message about moms. As Taapsee Pannu’s picture was not in Ghosh’s message for playing an on-screen mother, she gets upset about it.

Taking to Twitter, filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh shared a picture collage featuring Vidya Balan and Amrita Singh playing the role of mothers in films Kahaani, Badla, and Kahaani 2. Sharing the picture, Sujoy Ghosh tweeted, “your mother is the closest you’ll ever get to god.”

As Sujoy Ghosh shared the beautiful Mother’s Day message for all his fans, actress Taapsee Pannu replied, “Listen ! Where is my photo ? I was also a mother !!!!!” Like we all are well aware, Taapsee won hearts with her stellar performance in the film Badla playing the role of a mother in it. Upset about Sujoy Ghosh not sharing her picture, Taapsee asked the director why her photo is missing when she also played a mother in his film.

Moving on, replying to Taapse’s tweet, the Badla director wrote, “photo getting developed.....” After sharing that he is getting Taapsee’s photo developed hilariously, the actress replied, “Very cheap I must say! Ek toh I agreed to play a mother n then u don’t even put up my picture. Now u wait till u finish the next script n dare u make a mother again !” Later, Sujoy Ghosh made a hilarious comeback and asked Pannu, “warna thappad?”  Check out the fun banter below!

Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu was super miffed with Sujoy Ghosh, and there’s clearly no doubt in that. Talking about Taapsee’s film Badla, the actress played a murder accused.
