Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap Being Questioned By IT Officials In Pune As Raids Gets Conducted At The Residences - REPORTS

As per the latest reports, after IT Officials conducted raids at Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap's residences, the celebrities are being questioned by the officials in Pune

This morning, reports emerged that IT-officials are conducting raids at celebrities like Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap. Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl's offices and residences. It was in connection to the tax evasion charges that were brought against Phantom Films. The production house was formed by Anurag Kashyap, director Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl in 2011. However, it was dissolved in 2018 after the #MeToo movement. As per the reports, searches are being conducted at around 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune. 

Post the news of raids being conducted at their properties, reports have now emerged that Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap are being questioned by the officials in Pune. NDTV reported that the actor and filmmaker are being questioned in Pune and details of the same are yet to arrive. Earlier, news agency ANI had tweeted pictures of the income tax officials who had reached the residences of the celebrities to conduct searches. The tweet read, "Income Tax raids underway at the properties of film director Anurag Kashyap and actor Taapsee Pannu in Mumbai. Visuals from the residence of Anurag Kashyap."

Reportedly, Taapsee Pannu's talent management company Kri' office has also been raided. The IT-Raid at Anurag Kahsyap's residence lasted for almost 11 years, say the reports. Neither IT Officials nor the celebrities have made any comment on the same. 


Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu have collaborated on several projects including Maanmarziyaan and Game Over. It was recently that they started shooting for their next venture Do Baaraa which is a sci-fi film.
