As many users are digging out videos from the past, pointing out the prevalent Nepotism practise in the industry, a video featuring Karan Johar and Swara Bhasker talking on ‘Nepotism’ went viral. After a video of Swara Bhaskar questioning Karan Johar on nepotism surfaces on the internet, the actress asks fans to acknowledge his honesty and move of not pulling down the comment.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Swara Bhasker tweeted, “Let’s take a moment & acknowledge that @karanjohar took this question on the chin, & answered in a candid & honest manner not taking unwarranted personal offense. Let’s also acknowledge that he didn’t have the infamous #nepotism comment removed from his chat show which he cud’ve.”

In her tweet, the actress requested all the social media users to take a moment and acknowledge that Karan Johar took the question on Nepotism quite bravely and also answered it in a candid and honest manner. She also went on to ask fans to understand how the filmmaker-producer have an honest answer, without taking any unwarranted personal offense. Bhasker further continued to ask fans to also acknowledge the fact that KJo could have pulled down his infamous nepotism comment, but he did not do so.


For the unversed, the viral video dates back to September, 2016 when actress Swara Bhasker asked Karan Johar about launching star kids. In the throwback video that has resurfaced on the internet, Swara is spotted asking KJo if launching star kids is a conscious thing or it just happens, to which the filmmaker replied in detail.
